However, such a message does not necessarily call you to action, especially since it usually asks for permission to send you other mailings that are already relevant. This is because they cannot send further mail without your explicit permission, and they will ask for your permission in advance. In some cases, however, this can be useful, and the new privacy rules may be a good opportunity to opt out of receiving mail you do not want to receive. However, it is important to opt-in for all companies whose services you use or receive messages from. These emails are a reminder of how valuable your data and email address are. This new message is the result of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Europe\’s new data privacy and regulatory rules.
